General assignment reporter for the UPN affiliate in Los Angeles. Responsible for presenting story ideas, research and production. Extensive live shot work.

 

Televisa Network - Mexico

o News Anchor

Primary anchor of three one-hour newscasts daily on ECO, the Televisa international news network broadcast in over 40 countries. Host and writer of special programs on the United States and the controversial Drug Certification Program. Extensive experience in studio-to-studio interviews, breaking news and field work.

 

Telemundo Network, Inc.
Los Angeles - Mexico City - Miami

o Executive Producer, Show Host

Created, developed and hosted Telemundo's hit talk show "El y Ella". Hosted and produced over 500 one-hour shows. Produced and hosted over 25 prime time specials. Managed a $3 million yearly budget and supervised over 25 full time employees. Made over 300 personal appearances. Worked closely with the International Sales department providing them with promotional and programming ideas for the broadcast of the program in 15 countries.

 

Univision Network - Los Angeles

o Bureau Chief, Reporter, Producer

In charge of the Los Angeles Bureau for "Sábado Gigante Internacional", one of Univision's most popular programs. Responsible for developing and producing on-camera feature segments for this weekly program. Also responsible for coordination and booking of special guests.

 

KWHY TV Channel 22 - Los Angeles

o Show Host, Producer

Hosted and produced seven one-hour variety specials: "Domingos Alegres". Hosted Huntington Park Christmas Parade, Sweeps Contests and On-Air Promotions. Also produced special series, including "Tu Comunidad."

 

Televisa Radio - Mexico

o Talk Radio Host

Co-host of the radio program "KiKiRi-Q" with veteran news journalist Juan Calderón on Mexico's premier radio network, XEQ. Also responsible for story generation on this live two-hour show, broadcast Monday through Friday. International media analysis, topical news and entertainment related stories.
